Membership

Monthly dues are $50 for unlimited practice (four classes offered per week).  New members pay a one-time registration fee of $45, which covers their first year of membership with the USAF plus a $10 processing fee.  Additional family members receive $15 off their monthly dues. As an added value, membership at Portsmouth Aikido  also allows you to train at Portland, Framingham and Boston Aikikai.  For guests, the mat fee is $10.00.

Ongoing members pay an annual fee of $35 to maintain their membership with the USAF.  Regular members are expected to wear a white judo-style gi (uniform).  You are welcome to purchase a gi through the dojo (starting at $45) or purchase one yourself.
