Join us for our first seminar with William Gleason, 7th dan, Shihan. Aaron Cass Sensei has been training with him for nearly 20 years, and we are lucky to now be hosting him at our dojo.
Gleason Sensei has been studying aikido for over 50 years, including 10 years in Japan at Hombu Dojo and close study with Seigo Yamaguchi Shihan from 1970-1980. After returning to the United States, he founded Shobu Aikido of Boston under the guidance of Mitsugi Saotome Shihan, direct student of Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei.
Gleason Sensei has written two books and is working on a third. His practice and teaching are dedicated to the study of kotodama and how to apply the principles of O-Sensei’s aikido on and off the mat.
Class will go from 10am-12:30pm and 2:30-4:30pm, followed by dan tests and a party.
